We Are Saviour Biography

We Are Saviour first formed in October 2010 when they released their debut album, 13THIRTY. Their second album, entitled Strobe was released in December 2010; followed by Acapella Vol. 1 - the group's debut acoustic album released in December 2010. The group subsequently went on hiatus, and returned in July 2011 with the release of their new single, The Reason Why off their third album of the same name, due out in August 2011.

Nothing more regarding the album or the band was heard for 7 months, until February 11, 2012, when We Are Saviour announced in a 5-part tweet on their official Twitter page that they had disbanded for undisclosed reasons in August 2011, saying "We Are Saviour has broken up, and we have been since the Summer. Our third album will not be released, and we have ceased production on all projects. We would like to thank our fans for being so supportive and we are so sorry that we have split ways due to our differences. Thank you all for an amazing 2 years. We will never forget the amount of support that you have given us. Thank you for your support and love, and for allowing us to create music; even if it was just for a little while." The 5-part tweet was released on Twitter beginning at 1:47 pm ET and ending at 1:49 pm ET on February 11, 2012. 7 hours later, at 9:26 pm ET, the band released their final tweet, saying, "Thank you. This will be our final tweet - ever. We love you all past the reason why. Yours truly, We Are Saviour." In the final tweet, they mentioned their now-cancelled album, The Reason Why. Shortly after the release of their final tweet, it was announced that Cape & Horn Records had purchased the 5 completed songs from The Reason Why that had not been released and would release the songs along with all other songs by We Are Saviour, in a compilation album entitled We Are Saviour: The Collection. Cape & Horn said in a statement that the reason for the band's separation was due to irreconcilable differences, and that they planned to release the compilation album sometime within the next few years.

On May 21, 2012, Pearson announced that he was re-forming the group under the name Paris Dusk with Hannah Hash to join the revival group. The band is currently looking for a third artist to join them, and has signed with Cape & Horn Records. Jason Narrows was chosen as the third artist on June 8, 2012. Pearson, who is openly gay, has been in a relationship with Narrows since July 2011. Paris Dusk debuted a brand new single entitled "Rise and Fall" during the 2012 Onnie Awards on July 3, 2012. "Rise and Fall" was their first single since "The Reason Why", which had been released a year prior to their performance at the Onnie Awards. "Rise and Fall" was released for digital download on July 27, 2012. On October 12, 2012, it was announced that Paris Dusk would be an opening act during the third and final leg of Mugs - The Finale Tour: Part I, a promotional tour by Shocking Autumn Studios. The third leg began on November 21, 2012 in Ottawa, Ontario and will end on December 19, 2012 in San Fransisco, California, and will consist of 17 dates in Canada, United States, and Mexico. During the November 29, 2012 show in Boston, Massachusetts, Paris Dusk debuted a new single entitled "24 Months", which is scheduled to be released as the second single from their third album on December 8, 2012. In Fernandina Beach, Georgia, during the December 3, 2012 show, Paris Dusk announced that their third album, Paris Dusk will be released in Spring 2013.

  • Current: Nicholas Pearson (born November 1, 1979; age 33) formed We Are Saviour in October 2010 with his friend Charlie Boulevardez. The duo released two albums together before adding Hannah Hash to their band in January 2011, becoming a trio. In February 2011, Boulevardez and Pearson began arguing over creative differences while working on their third album, causing the band to quietly break up in April 2011. In June 2011, the band re-formed to begin working on new music, after Boulevardez and Pearson resolved their differences. The band broke up in July 2011, shortly after Boulevardez reacted negatively when Pearson revealed that he was gay. Pearson entered a relationship with Jason Narrows (age 19) in July 2011. In February 2012, Pearson announced on Twitter that We Are Saviour had broken up in Summer 2011, however Pearson reformed the band under the new name Paris Dusk in May 2012.
  • Former: Charlie Boulevardez (born May 29, 1980; age 32) formed We Are Saviour in October 2010 with his friend Nicholas Pearson.  The duo released two albums together before adding Hannah Hash to their band in January 2011, becoming a trio. In February 2011, Boulevardez and Pearson began arguing over creative differences while working on their third album, causing the band to quietly break up in April 2011. One of these arguments involved Boulevardez punching Pearson. In June 2011, the band re-formed to begin working on new music, after Boulevardez and Pearson resolved their differences. However, in July 2011, when Pearson revealed to Hash and Boulevardez that he was gay, Boulevardez broke out in homophobic slurs and began physically abusing Pearson for a second time, causing the band to break up once again. In October 2011, Boulevardez ran into Pearson and his boyfriend, Jason Narrows at a coffee shop, where Boulevardez began throwing more slurs at the couple. Shortly after this, Pearson and Narrows filed a restraining order against Boulevardez. The band was re-formed in May 2012, however Boulevardez was not invited to be part of the band again, and was banned from any studios or venues of which Pearson, Hash, or Narrows were performing or recording in. Pearson said in May 2012 that Boulevardez had moved out of Los Angeles to Miami. Pearson said he had learned this after viewing Boulevardez's Twitter page. A report surfaced in December 2012 that Boulevardez had formed a dubstep/hip hop group with 6 of his cousins entitled Down by the Boulevard and that they were expecting to release their debut album in Summer 2013.

Hannah Hash worked with Pearson & Boulevardez on new music from January 2011 to July 2011; when the band broke up due to arguments between Pearson and Boulevardez. Hash was not part of the arguments. In May 2012, Hash and Pearson announced that they were re-forming the band, along with Pearson's boyfriend Jason Narrows, under the new name Paris Dusk. In July 2012, Hash became engaged to her boyfriend, Max Pomton (born January 19, 1978; age 34). They will marry in 2013.
